Dr. Sadick Arthur is the Senior Pastor of International Central Gospel Church in Northern Virginia. He is a multi-gifted and dynamic teacher of the Word of God. As a man of God and a
gentleman of unlimited potential, Dr. Arthur has distinguished himself as a caring, loving and anointed pastor.

He has authored several books and is a seasoned extraordinary motivational speaker. He pioneered the planting and establishment of ICGC in New York and quite recently the Virginia Assembly of ICGC.

He is the pastor to first establish a branch of ICGC in the East Coast of America, and that was in 1997 when the New York Assembly was established.

Dr. Arthur believes that God made mankind to live a victorious life. In his words:

life must not live you! You must live life. Life must not determine the tune to which you dance. You must be the one who determines the tune to which you dance in life.

He speaks extensively on issues relating self-improvement, social, economic and spiritual empowerment.
His passion and desire is to see each person to whom he minister become all that God has created them to be.

Dr. Arthur resides in Northern Virginia with his lovely wife Maame Boatemaa, who co-pastors
with him in the ministry, and their charismatic daughters Merom and Melorra

International Central Gospel Church is committed to the holistic preaching and demonstration of God's plans and purposes for mankind as revealed in the Holy Scriptures. This plan is set forth in Genesis 1:26-28 when God created mankind in His own image and likeness and commissioned him "to be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over it."

This purpose of God for mankind was lost as a result of The Fall, but restored through the conception, birth, life, ministry, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Furthermore, the Bible emphatically states that; "to everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven" (Ecclesiastes 3:1). This means that everything that is done on earth must be driven by purpose. King Solomon also writes: "where there is no vision, the people perish" (Proverbs 29:18). In other words, people throw off self-control, self-discipline and restraint when purpose or vision is missing from life's equation.

Vision is the force that determines destiny. Vision is what makes the unseen visible and the unknown a reality. Purpose and vision go hand-in-hand, and the two are inseparable. With the revelation of these principles, we concisely outline our corporate purpose and vision as follows:

Our Purpose. . .
- To raise leaders, shape destinies and influence society through Christ.
- To be a dynamic spiritual organism empowered by the Holy Spirit to share Christ with our community and the rest of the world.
- To produce disciples for Christ.
- To produce responsible individuals.
- To be prophetically alert, socially relevant and practically in touch with the needs and challenges of her people, thereby identifying with the needs and challenges of her people.

An Overview Of Our Vision…
- To raise the image of every individual God gives to our care so we can equip them and help them discover their God-given abilities and purposes so they can be channels of blessing to our community and the
rest of the world. We strive for individual success and excellence in every sphere of life, be it spiritually, mentally, physically or materially.
This what we at ICGC call THE TOTAL MAN CONCEPT.
- To establish the House of God through the development of Mode New Testament Christians and Churches. A Model New Testament Christian is the person who has grown into maturity in Christ. A Model New
Testament Church is the kind that creates the capacity for growth for her members.
- We envision growing to our largest possible size, yet maintaining a proper balance of the Word and the Spirit. As we grow, we intend to create an atmosphere where we can share our lives together by
engaging in effective corporate worship, thereby supporting and praying for each other.
- To equip every member for a significant ministry by helping them discover and develop their God-given gifts and talents.
- To be a Church that functions as a base for global missionary activities. Thus, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible. Church planting, outreach and missions is an integral part of
our spiritual DNA.
- To produce disciples for Christ---Disciples of all ethnicities, cultures and nationalities. That is, a well diversified Church where the multi-racial, multi-cultural, and multi-national dynamics of our society is fully
expressed.
- To raise a Church where the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated, and the confused can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance and encouragement.
- To be a Church that would be an eloquent witness of Christ to mankind through their conduct and life.
- To serve as an authentic channel for God to bring leadership and vision to our generation.

International Central Gospel Church, Virginia, had their first public worship service on February 9th 2003 at a meeting room in the Days Inn Hotel located on 6721 Commerce Street in Springfield, Virginia. The Church met with an initial membership of ten people. Since then, God has been faithful and the Church is experiencing a steady and remarkable growth.

The conference room at the Days Inn Hotel became too small so the Church relocated on September 7, 2003 to the Forestdale Elementary School, which is less than 2 miles from Days Inn.

On January 25, 2004, the Church again moved to the current site; Christ’s Chapel on 5502 Port Royal Road. The facility houses the main sanctuary, the children worship center, the youth worship center, and the administrative offices.

This local assembly is an offshoot of the International Central Gospel Church with its headquarters in Ghana, West Africa. The vision of ICGC or Central as many affectionately call it, was laid on the heart of the Founder and General Overseer, Dr. Mensa Otabil. When he heard the directive of the Holy Spirit to plant model New Testament Churches, he immediately responded to the Holy Spirit's leading and ICGC was first birthed in the capital of Ghana.

Under Dr. Otabil's leadership, branches of ICGC have sprung up across the continent of Africa, Europe and North America. In a nutshell, we are fulfilling Christ's commission for us to evangelize the world and produce disciples for Him.

As an extension of ICGC's primary purpose to "raise leaders, shape destinies and influence society through Christ," the Virginia Branch is committed to making people's lives better by making winners out of losers and champions out of the despised in society. Our hallmark is "guaranteeing our members all the love, care and attention they deserve."

The pastor in charge, Dr. Sadick Arthur had his call under Dr. Otabil's ministry. In 2002, God instructed him to go to Northern Virginia to start this great and vibrant Church. On February 9th 2003, the Virginia Branch of ICGC was planted. The Church was inaugurated on August 3rd 2003.
