Paul also cautions us “to bear one another’s burden” and “to pray for one another.” Whenever you pray, it is a sign of you giving God the opportunity to work on your behalf. In other words, “prayer is the permission given to God to intervene in the affairs of mankind.” God can never act on your behalf unless you pray. And when you pray He hears and answers your prayers. John writes: “this is the confidence we have in Him, and that is, if we pray according to His will, He hears us” (1 John 5:14).

Do you need salvation? Then pray these words.

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. Your Word says, "Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:21). I am calling on you. I pray and ask Jesus to come into my heart and be Lord over my life according to Romans 10:9-10. "If I should confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I shall be saved." I do that now. I confess that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead.

I pray, that you will give me the power to present my body as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto you, which is my reasonable service (Romans 12:1), for what You have done on the cross for me.

I believe that I am now reborn creature in Christ according to your word (2 Cor. 5:16). "If we then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto our children: HOW MUCH MORE shall my Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?" (Luke 11:13). I’m also asking you to fill me with your Holy Spirit so I may teach others of your ways (Psalm 51:12-13).

I now begin to praise You and thank You for saving me and filling me with your Spirit. Let Him convict me of sin, I pray, and lead me into all truth (John 16:7-13) so that I may be like Christ in all things.
